Protaper Gold Finishing Files

ProTaper Gold Finishing Files are part of the ProTaper Gold line, an evolution of the popular ProTaper Universal instruments. Made from a heat-treated nickel-titanium alloy, they offer superior flexibility, increased resistance to cyclic fatigue, and greater control when shaping root canals.

Recommended instructions for use

1. Use Shaping Files before Finishing Files.

2. Insert the ProTaper Gold Finishing file into the canal with continuous irrigation.

3. Move forward gently without forcing, in successive movements until you reach the working length.

4. Rinse and remove debris after each pass.

5. Dispose of immediately after use in a sharps container.

Precautions for use

• Check the file before use: do not use if it is deformed.

• Do not apply excessive pressure to the instrument.

• Always irrigate thoroughly to avoid blockages.

• Respect the recommended rotation speeds and torques.

• Single use required to avoid cross-contamination.
