Proclean - 5 liter can

Proclean is a concentrated preparation intended for ultrasonic cleaning of reusable medical or surgical instruments (mirrors, probes, tweezers, rotating instruments, etc.).

Main features

• Format: 5 liter can

• Nature: concentrated solution to be diluted for use in an ultrasonic bath

• Use: cleaning instruments before disinfection and sterilization

• Antimicrobial action spectrum:
  • Bactericidal according to EN standards, effective against Staphylococcus aureus , Pseudomonas aeruginosa , Enterococcus hirae
  • Fungicide active against Candida albicans
  • Virucide (notably against Adenovirus) at a concentration of 2% with contact time of approximately 30 minutes

• Compatibility: Designed for common materials used in instruments (stainless steels, alloys, medical plastics)

• Areas of application: dental surgery, maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, operating rooms

• Note: Proclean does not replace the initial decontamination of instruments or their final sterilization.

Recommended instructions for use

1. Dilute Proclean according to the recommended concentration (e.g. 2%)

2. Immerse the instruments in the ultrasonic tank filled with the diluted solution

3. Start the ultrasonic cycle for the appropriate time depending on the level of contamination

4. Rinse the instruments thoroughly with clean water after the cycle.

5. Continue with usual disinfection/sterilization

Precautions & recommendations

• Wear gloves and eye protection when handling

• Do not exceed the recommended concentration

• Do not mix with other chemicals

• Store the container in a cool place, away from frost and heat.

• Check material compatibility before prolonged immersion
